  • HealthSherpa FFM Training is now open for both New and Returning Agents and Brokers.
  • Free CEUs are available in certain states, with more being added soon.

CMS Update - August 22, 2025

On Friday August 22nd, a federal court in Maryland pressed “pause” on several parts of CMS’ Program Integrity Rule, some of which were supposed to begin August 25.

What we know:

Certain CMS Program Integrity rules have been temporarily paused for implementation, including:

  • $5 premium for $0 passive renewals
  • Expansion of SEP pre-enrollment verification
  • And DMIs for certain income variances

More to Come

We expect that CMS will share guidance with agents and brokers on the impacts to the 2026 Open Enrollment Period. We will share additional detail once they do.
